This is cool, I like it but confused on its purpose. It is purely for looks? Or are there other advantages I’m not aware of.
There are a few reasons why someone may want to run a tire carrier delete.
- Purley for design / aesthetics
- If you run a larger wheel/tire setup (40+ inches) those could put strain on your tailgate
- Increased visibility from the rear of your Bronco
- A delete could potentially prevent you from getting snagged on obstacles while out on the trails.

There are 2 guys on you-tube who offroad their Broncos hard and with 37s, their tailgate has already bent.

This is cool, I like it but confused on its purpose. It is purely for looks? Or are there other advantages I’m not aware of.

Spare tire is ugly and adds a lot of weight hanging off the back end and invites theft. When was the last time you needed a spare, I carry tire plugs and a compressor just in case. Now, if I were off roading in the rocks, I'll carry the spare.
