How much do they weigh vs Sasquatch forged wheels?

guessing extra 1/2in going from a sasq 17x8.5 to a 17x9 puts the +33 of the squatch into clearance range if the std +55 rims?
Ummm ...????
Is this what you mean?
17 X 9 +30offset = 6.18" backspace
Maybe this thread won't get deleted/lost:

per tiresize.com wheel calculator.
Using what I can gather from the Stig shots of the wheels and assuming the Base wheel is the same Ranger wheel, which has been stated elswhere.

16 x 7 = 55mm offset = 6.17" Backspace (Base)
17&18 x 7.5 = 55mm = 6.42" backspace (BB, BD & OBX)
17 x 8 = 55mm offset = 6.67" backspace (Badlands)
17 x 8.5 = 30mm off = 5.93" backspace (Squatch)

i will buy an aftermarket set of wheels and put A/T tires on the second set. At some point I might dedicated winter tires on the sas wheels and swap out come november.

i do this on my awd sports car. summer only with aftermarket wheels for Apr-Nov.

stock wheels with dedicated winter performance tires Nov- March. Easy to swap.

only downside is that you need a tire/wheel storage piece.

+30 offsets!

Nice.
So, explain offset to me . . . My OBX has 18" x 7.5 wide wheels and 275/70R18 Tires, which are 32" tall, section width 10.2" and 7" tread.

Upgrading to Baja Boss AT 33x12.50r18LT needs an 8.5" wide rim, 11.9 section width, 10.3" tread, 32.6" diameter.. this tire is 1.7" wider than stock, how much offset? How do we know if it needs any lifting?

I’ll probably do the same . Just with all the cars I have I have tons of wheels and tires

I imagine you’re gonna need at least 20mm less offset… so +30… which is what the Sas wheels are to accommodate the 315.

The +55mm offset base-BL wheels put the tires *very* close to the UCA… and it’s especially the case on the 285’s.

Here’s the details:

https://www.bronco6g.com/detailed-calculations-show-aftermarket-tire-size-fitments-on-bronco-trims/

The fact your chosen tires are 33”, same as BL, I’m not concerned about diameter… but I’m worried about with the tire width. Without less offset, pushing the wheels and tires further out, your going to interfere with the upper control arm.

…but you don’t want to push it too far out because then you introduce new interference points during steering, not to mention to mess up the steering and suspension geometry.

My rule for anyone thinking about getting creative at this point… either stick to the same setups Ford is selling from the factory, or wait until we get good intel from people who have actually tried things.

yeah, I was having trouble finding a way to express what I was saying...breaking out the numbers would have been better.

Zack, thats very helpful, thanks. It appears that the conclusion that the 275/70R18 tire fitting without modification is perfect for me . . . In fact, the Mickey Thompson 275/70R18 would work well on the factory 7.5" wheels (fit 7-9" wheels) with a section width of 10.8, tread of 9.6, 2.6" wider than stock and 33.3" diameter, all perfect for sand. Look good?

Edit: Nevermind-understand what its saying now. (y)

Ok, so do I want the 17x9 +30 for a Non Sas Badlands with stock tires?? If you use the drop down menu there are no 17" with a +25 listed. I dont want the 0 cause damn those will poke way out.
