Anyone have any issues with the little rubber bumper for the spare getting in the way when going to a bigger wheel/tire combo?

How do you take them off? The screw just turns and turns! I'm want to take them off to clay/polish/ceramic coat the paint! I've watched spare tire delete videos, but none address the rubber bumpers!

I had to just pull it till the head came through the hole in the bumper. Then you have to use something sharp to get some separation between the plastic screw head and the little molly type part. It didn’t destroy anything.

Thanks....so you were able to re-mount the rubber bumper using the same fastener?

Here is what I used. It is a black piece of PVC hose fitting I got from Home Depot. It fit (the threaded end-lubricated to shove it in) inside the current bump stop and was just the length I needed. It is water proof and looks OEM. Depending on what wheel offset and tires people add to their Bronco will determine what needs to be done.

ACTUALLY, I just watched Stickerfab, who instructed to turn the screw lightly, NO PRESSURE, and the screw would come out, and IT DID!
