You figured it out - Heritage Edition will have a 300ci I-6 and 3-on-a-tree manual!

Ecoboost 300 I6. Should make 450 hp in street trim. 3 on the tree comes with a gear vendors overdrive unit.

Ford (Levine I think) has already tweeted that 22 would get a green color. So that's happening and it's one of the reasons I'm code 99 right now.

It could be true, the 3.0 is based on the 2.7 engine and makes massive HP numbers for the size but lower torque numbers, but a trade off would be better MPG as far as I know of the 3.0 engine.

My ‘20 3.0 Ecoboost makes 400hp/400TQ. From 2300 RPM I’m at max torque and from the factory it’s heavily torque limited due to the weak 10R60 tranny that Ford cheaped out on the Explorer ST.

With stock turbos and E85, folks have hit 600lb-ft of torque on the dyno.

They absolutely wouldn't do as large of a change as a different engine option - unless its for the Warthog, its simply just not that easy of a task.

yeah, its not crazy to increase the power in these engines, definitely doing upgrades as soon as i get the Bronco
