I saw in another thread, there's quite a few of us that enjoy long-distance runs.

What's your favorite distance?

I enjoy both 10k and the 1/2 marathon!

I use to be able to run, but life caught up and running is not in the cards.

Half marathon yea! A marathon is a bit more than what humans were meant to run continuously.

When I was running I was good at 2 miles. Never liked running.

I'm good for 5 miles 5 to 6 days a week.
Been running since i was in middle school.
Came naturally and never looked back.
Paid for most of my college!!!

I used to be extremely over-weight, I discovered running and it's stayed with me. Been running for nearly 8+ years now.

For racing, I prefer 5k...
Training is around 8k and some long runs weekly, 11 to 18k

Back in the day I enjoyed half marathons but now it's 5 to 6 miles a couple days a week.

Average 4-5 miles/day, 5-6 days a week for 20+ years until I torn my meniscus and found my inner knees were gone. Treadmill and Mountain Biking now. Nothing in aerobic exercise can ever replace that long distance run though.

I've been running for 41 years. Marathons, 10 milers, 10k's, 5k's. The most I could do now is 5k. Getting old and parts don't hold up as well as they used to.

Before covid hit, I was logging ~75 mi/wk in preparation for Snoqualmie, Eugene, chi-town, and NY marathons -- was hoping for a BQ.
Since 2020 has been 2020, I've transcended into logging about 75 wpm on the keyboard trolling Bronco forums while spinning on the Peloton ?

My wife and I each run 10 miles every other day, we alternate and watch the kids the other day. Both occasional marathon runners.
