Hi, I have had my Badlands Cactus grey 4 door for 15 months now and love it, the other day I washed my Bronco by hand like I always do and I noticed little rust spots on the doors, I understand what rail dust is and it does look like that and I removed that the first month of getting my Bronco but still appearing after 15 months? Should I be worried?

I think in Ohio there should be no rail dust, ohio being close, they are trailed. But that info is on window sticker

Pics?

Tire shine splatter?

I know mine was delivered by truck but the rust looks like rail dust, it's in the door jambs as well

How about some pictures so we know exactly what you are talking about….I’m more of a visual person, so I like pictures to go with dialogue. 🤪

Use a claybar with a detail spray or try IronX.

It’s most likely general contaminants that need to be removed with a method that is not washing

Aren't the doors aluminum? Aluminum doesn't rust

Thank you, this is the first lighter vehicle I've had, never noticed it on any of my other vehicles
No problem. Before someone introduced me to the clay bar method years ago I was pulling my hair out trying to get those spots removed. Clay bars work wonders.

My boy bought a used STI Subaru hatchback that was in rough shape with overspray everywhere from someone spray painting in enclosed area near it. Clay bar and half a day we had that sucker lookin’ sharp again!!

That kit is at Walmart for $22 fyi.
