Rusty mudflap screws replaced by stainless steel

I put cheap mud flaps from eBay on last year. They came with hardware which included knurled hand screws for easy removal for cleaning. (Right). They rusted in short order, no turning them by hand! I’m not sure if the higher quality kits have better hardware. I am replacing the screws with stainless and using some anti seize. FYI

Um Yeah, cheap kits won’t include stainless steel. Gotta buy something better or Replace the hardware when you put them on.

Just give them a misting of WD-40 every few months. They will be prone to corrosion as they are constantly blasted by road debris and water.
