Top of The World trail was probably my personal favorite. Only for the fact that it had such an awesome view plus I got to meet many of the B6G crew at the Top.

Nooo! You have to spend hundreds on a kit!Quick little change that gives me peace of mind. I reduced the travel amount on my rear door to protect my passenger brake light from my Jerry Can. I just got a strip of aluminum and drilled a hole for the M8x1.25 bolt that originally located the gas strut. I then threaded an M8x1.25 hole for the gas strut ball in thread into the aluminum. I drilled a third hole to just clear the button head bolt that go to something I don't know, so I didn't want to risk removing it. I then drill a thru hole in the bottom of my door to allow the long strut ball to pass through. It does the job.
Whoops. That bump out gets me every time. It looks good there otherwise. Here is an example of what not to do LOL.
I tried to install my Trickflate 300 upside down on my rear cargo basket. I was so proud of myself, showed it off to my buddy and my wife, went to shut the door and *CRACK*!! I mounted it too far back and couldn't shut the door
This is great! I am looking into getting a shorter gas strut for my rear door. Found some at O'reilly auto parts.Quick little change that gives me peace of mind.
