I went to 2 different Bronco events the last couple weeks, 1 an official roadshow event and the other non-official, Ford driver just popped by to give the salesman a rundown. Got to see a 4dr Outerbanks soft top in black, a 4dr Black Diamond soft top in CG, and a 2dr Badlands MIC top in CG. No Squatch sightings unfortunately. Here's my random thoughts followed by some pics (didn't take any of the Outerbanks, sorry).
-Both 4 doors looked fine in person on stock wheels/tires. I saw the fishing demo rig a while back and didn't think it looked proportional, but this wasn't the case. I'm sure 35"s will look even better.
-Big fan of the MGV. Seat cushion seemed plusher and the color ways on the BD were great. MGV definitely had a texture I wasn't expecting, like a cross between leather and neoprene. Definitely not your grandad's vinyl seats.
-Legroom and cargo space seemed fine in the 4dr. I'm used to raptor interior width, but didn't seem overly cramped. I'm 6' and sat in the back seat with the driver seat all the way back. Couldn't have my knees directly in front of me, but it would be doable for a short drive. No way I'd ever need the driver seat that far back though. Trunk seemed reasonable on the 4dr. They had tape marked off where the 2dr trunk would end and it was essentially half the trunk space. I'd be concerned fitting a full size cooler in back of a 2dr without folding the seats down.
-All colors seen were great. The Ford roadshow reps kept telling me the Outerbanks was black but both my GF and I saw blueish metal flake in it and could've sworn it was AMB. Probably confirmation bias, but loved CG. Saw one in the shade and it was good and another one that was even better in the sun. CG contrasts perfectly with the MIC flares, top, and grill.
-Finally, wanted to focus in on something new/not covered here yet. I took some photos of the interior door lock. It's not on top of the door by the window but it's a rubberized plastic switch in the handle.
