I keep seeing some people using “SAS” as an abbreviation for Sasquatch.
Everybody knows that “Squatch” is the correct way.

For those in the off-road community for a longer period than your membership on this forum, we know SAS stands for “Solid Axle Swap”. It’s been this way forever all over the place.
I think saying SAS makes people look like they don’t know what they are talking about and it reminds me of the word “Sassy”.

These are my opinions about it. What do you say?

Hopefully these easy to understand attachments will explain it better for everyone.

This is Squatch......

I know I'm a nerd, but SAS will always mean Software as A Service..... and I'm not even in IT!!!!

Squatch is more immediately recognizable too. Jargon and acronyms are a PITA.
Yes, and Squatch has already been established well before the Bronco got the package name.

Sas (not SAS) when when I'm in a hurry Squatch when I'm not. Then there's Basquatch or Basesquatch?

Is is wrong to want a SAS outfitted Bronco, but not Squatch?

NonSquatch Badlands for me... SAS accessories as part of the 200 too much to ask?

Right, but there’s never BaseSas, ManSas, or BadSas. Right?

It's Squatch for me because SAS, as stated above, stands for Special Air Service.

Obviously it is Side-Angle-Side for use in proving two triangles congruent. Duh.

I was not a mathematician in school, so I will correct my previous post.
