Sasquatch Beauty Ring

Has any tried this/my idea? I've investigate enough about beadlocks that for my use are overkill and I don't want the tire shop hassle, but I do LOVE the look and thinking if you could polish the OEM beauty ring, drill remaining holes and install all fasteners. I'm not interested in painting any body matching color as many have done, but would consider powdercoating if I could find a good match to polished aluminum.

Anyone tackle this idea and were successful?

The trim ring will not work as a true beadlock ring. The material thickness is very thin compared to the actual beadlock ring. It will not keep the tire on the rim.

Correct. I want the “look” of the pretty beadlock ring from Ford but not the function. So take the SAS ring and refinish and drill/add all bolts. But truth be told the polished ring still won’t look as good as the freshly machined aluminum version.

I was thinking of doing this, wont have mine for a month or so yet. If you want to keep the OEM wheels you can also reach out to the dude at OMF Performance. He makes all kinds of Faux and real bead-lock rings. he hasnt listed any for the Bronco yet, but he did have some for 150 Raptors. I was gonna reach out after I got mine and see if he was interested, im sure he would sell a bunch. The faux rings are about the same as real bead lock rings though, usually around $100- $140 each. OMF does have some pretty cool powder coat/machined combinations.
