I've never owned a car with tires in the 32"+ realm and 4.46 or 4.7 final drive. Leaning toward a BaseSquatch possibly with the V6 right now.

The gearing sounds good for acceleration and off road, but I'm wondering if it will make highway speed limited. I imagine the 10th gear in the auto must be pretty tall to combat this, might be more of an issue with the manual. I daily drive around Miami with highway speeds often 80-85 MPH. Is the sasquatch going to struggle or be at a really high RPM at speeds over 80 mph?

When you go to taller tires you need steeper gears to compensate. As long as you keep them in sync then the RPM will more or less be the same as a 3.73 geared truck with 31”s.

My H2 on 37s with 4.56 gearing and only 4 speeds cruises along at 80-90MPH without a hiccup.

The top two gears in both the MT and AT are quite good for interstate driving. High RPMs will not be a problem. For most of my driving I doubt I even use 6th in the MT.

Here is the equation for figuring rpm at a set mph. This is making the assumption that you are in the highest gear of the transmission. If you plan on the manual transmission, your overdrive factor is 0.646. Sasquatch tires are 34.5”.

MPH x Axle Ratio x Overdrive x 336 divided by Tire Diameter

In your case it would read:

85 x 4.7 x 0.636 x 336 / 34.5 equals 2,475 rpm at 85mph

My Raptor with 4.10's, 10-speed, and 35" tires is turning 1800 rpm at 70mph. According to the calculator 4.70's, 10-speed, and 32" tires will turn 2197 rpm at 70mph.

This is specific to the Bronco, where the axle ratios, overdrive ratios and tire diameters are known. You would need to check to see what your overdrive ratio is for your Raptor. I do not know if the 10 speed transmissions carry the same ratios across the board.

10th gear in both applications is .636-1.

Likewise my F350 running 38x13.5x22s and 3.55 gears runs at 70-80mph all day with no issue.
