It's just bigger and fits the IP. It still runs Sync 4. The 8" is perfectly fine, but it's not going to age well.

The 12” screen has all the same features as the 8”, but when you upgrade to the High Package you are also getting the 360 cameras. It is unknown if the 8” screen could support that.

For certain things it's almost a must have . I like the looks of the dash with the 8" screen better but for old eyes like mine and all the info that can be displayed , it will be much easier to read . Also with the 360 camera setup I'm sure they matched it with the bigger screen so all the views would not get crammed together .

My next door neighbor had to have the fridge with the tv screen on it so they can see inside the fridge?,leave messages for each other,and write what the want to buy at the store.
Sure enough compressor went out and circut board fried too much $to fix so they got new fridge. Poor thing sitting on the street waiting for pick up .
Keep all the tech stuff dont want it or need it.

The 12” screen has all the same features as the 8”, but when you upgrade to the High Package you are also getting the 360 cameras. It is unknown if the 8” screen could support that.

Philly and Gary are correct. While the 12" doesn't offer any different functionality by itself over the 8", the availability of the 12" in the High/Lux packages opens up increased functions either by the additional cameras in those packages or the additional software/subscriptions in the Nav.

I'm an advocate of getting as much tech when you can get it. In certain markets, the Badlands with it's swaybar disconnect will be a benefit on the used market. But in others, the next buyers may not care about such features. But everyone can see the 12" screen and it will add more value either in trade-in or selling used.
