I am buying the Badlands with the mid-package 2.7L Auto. I don't really need the Sasquatch package, but what impact would spending the extra $2500 to get the "Badsquatch" have on the resale value? Worth it or no?

I think the Sasquatch package would help resale value. As alot of folks like the more agressive wider stance, 35" tires and hgher lift.
But I would buy what I want based on my preference and not resale value. And at the end of the day you might be only getting $2k more for a package you paid $2500 for.

Badlands has a lot of the components already anyway so don't do it. Now that I've saved you $2500 upfront, you got dinner right? I like steak.

Minimal at best. By the time it would hit a resale market, lift kits and the like would be relatively cheap. Heck the 6" lift for my F350 only cost 1200.00. It could add a few buck but I wouldn't think anything substantial. Now the interior options will add value, so if you don't like/want the Sasquatch upgrade I'd spend the 2500 on something in the interior lineup. The 2.7 motor and auto will make the most cost impact at resale time.

I agree with you BUT consider this, most people want oem packages and only the hardcore people consider what they can buy in the aftermarket.

i def think the Sasquatch package will add value in the use market.

Maybe. But again, I think it will be very minimal.

I think it would affect resale value more on the Base, BB, BD and OB then Badlands. Especially Base and Big Bend.. A Base with a Sasquatch package and a 2.7 is basically a Wildtrak minus the creature comforts.

I agree with this for the most part. Sasquatch will greatly improve resale for the lower tier models and value will taper down with BL because it almost has everything. I think it’s only missing the 4.7 gears and upgraded wheels/tires.

There are a bunch of “important to some” options that come with the WT and other higher models that aren’t available on the lower trims like better instrument panels, Better top options, etc.

Just look at how the Rubicon trim impacts Jeep.
Yes but Badlands = Rubicon.

My take is if you like the Ford beadlock readys, Sasquatch is worth it for you. How much those wheels are worth extra on resale is how much Sasquatch is worth.

You are getting the same suspension with the Badlands, so if you added aftermarket beadlock or maybe extra lift above Sasquatch, it is worth nothing.

This is independent of 10AT and engine considerations.

That’s it. There isn’t even badging for Sasquatch....a resale in 5 years will just call it a Badlands on 33s or a Badlands on 35s...with minimal resale value difference between the two.

In my experience you get more resale value for the model and not so much options. Ie rubicon is a model not an option. Not sure if sas will be an different bc of how much it comes with though.

Unless you're going to flip it while production is only going to reservation holders, resale probably won't be affected that much. It may hold it's value, or it may be like most vehicles and you will lose if you sell early.

Personally, if resale is a main concern, it might be better to either lease or not buy at all. You're going to lose money either way.

2 door Wildtrack standard = Base + $20,000. For Base + $10,000 ( on X-Plan ) I can built the Wildtrak running gear and add HD bumper plus Brush guard ( less 2 goat modes-colors-Mod top -LED) . Above that, what value is Wildtrak if you do not add leather seats, High and Lux packages? So now Base + $30,000. Open to hearing why a fully optioned Base at $40k is not the best value and thus the best resale.
