Ah...still not the 2.7L? Come on man, Squatch + 2.7L + manual...it’s not difficult!!
2.7/mt ain't happening in the 1st production run. Would take a whole redesign of the mt case. If the take rate of 2.3/mt is crazy high then maybe? 2.3/mt/squatch will blow up the take rate on mt overall, and that's the step you gotta take to warrant a whole new casting. 10r80 is already cast for both...no new parts gotta be called into existence.

Right?! I got all excited then realized it was the 2.3 and not the 2.7. I could care less about the 2.3!! Give me a Squatch with the 7 speed 2.7 or a 3.0
Im with you but I’d take the 2.3 w/ the manual over the 2.7 auto all day

I think this fella nailed it. Is anyone actually going to pay 8k for the sway bar disconnect? Only reason to choose any other trim level is for mid/high/lux interior packages.
So my question is how much more flex does the sway bar disconnect give you?

I think Ford should still come out with a solid axle for a special edition. Call it the Bronco Big Rock edition or some catchy name..

As you say, with the crawler gear it's irrelevant, would be just right for your situation. But say you where running 1000 rpms with the 4.70's, you' be revving 1035 with the 4.88's and 1085 with the 5.10's, don't think you'd notice.

OK, my point is I want to start with the lowest possible. I've never had too low of gears from the factory but I've dang sure had too high. I'll take them as low as they'll give them.

Well I for one burned the clutch in my fathers and husbands trucks attempting to drive a manual, not my proudest moment, so this means nothing to me. But I gotta say, I’m really excited for the rest of you!

I think people may be overreacting. Just because someone out testing swapped the thirty fives on is ZERO indication Ford is going to make that a production option. Not only that, it’s NOT the Sasquatch package since that is a different suspension entirely, as well as different final drive ratios.

No one knows yet. But on the power wagon it makes a big difference. Gives a better ride over bumps too.

Actually it is a badlands, and as such it is "nearly identical" suspension. No doubt in testing that 10mm of bumpstop could just be forgotten, and if there is a little rub at full stuff? Turn the radio up louder!
