4.7 gearing is the only reason I am going sas.
I wish you could get it stand alone, but I am getting BL so $2500 isn't terrible even if I plan to sell off the suspension and tires and wheels.

The only reason to not do Sasquatch if you intend to eventually do lower gears/front locker/ big tires etc. is if you are doing a solid axle swap. If you don’t intend to do that then forgoing the Sasquatch is dumb if you are ever going to want a front locker.

Regearing to 4.7 will be $2500 Easy.
$1000 to add lockers.
OEM quality lift kit installed $2000.
Wheels, tires, mounts, Speedo calibration, $3500.

I’m at $9k, and I still have the smaller axles that are easier to break.....I’m not sure on the cost for larger axles.

I know these Prices becauseI’ve lifted several Jeeps in my day. ?
makes sense!
We get larger axles with the SQ?

4.27 locking is $800... but that doesnt address the front locking

Search is your friend:
The HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) System seems very interesting, time to deep dive. Lets discuss how it works, do I need to upgrade to the Bilstein Position Sensitive Dampers for my Bronco, what does it do for articulation and how does it compare to the competition?

Standard on: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond andOuter Banks
Standard with Added Bilstein Position Sensitive Dampers on: Badlands, Wildtrak and First Edition

Rear axle is the same in all Broncos the front however is a totally different story.....

Stock is an aluminum center section and an open diff ( one wheel peel).

Squatch is an iron center section, a larger ring and pinion ( 190mm to 210mm) and lockers with 4.70 gears. This alone has got to be in the 2500 to 3000 if not more.

Between regearing, cost of new gears, lockers, wheels & tires you're already at your $5k. So you havent bought the flares, shocks and suspension lift yet.

If you're going to squatch it or copy as close as possible, might as well and get it done from Ford and have the warranty.

HIGH PERFORMANCE is the "H"

OFF-ROAD is the "O"

STABILITY is the "S"

SYSTEM is the other "S"

It has been awhile since I have been in school but that spells HOSS

what you are looking at is the HOSS suspension it is all of it. it is what Ford has termed the suspension. Once again it is .......

IFS FRONT AND 5 LINK LIVE AXLE REAR WITH COIL OVERS ON ALL FOUR CORNERS.

.............not yelling trying to make a point.

HOSS is the marketing term for the Bilstein coil overs.

You stated that you want to buy you own tires and wheels. I don’t think that you can upgrade the front axel, re-gear the welded in differentials, install front and rear lockers and a upgraded shocks/coil overs for $4995.
Sell the Sasquatch tires and wheels for $1000 and spend $2500 and your still money ahead.
Plus no matter what you do you won’t have the advance transfer case(Auto only) or the factory warranty.

4.7 gearing is the only reason I am going sas.
I wish you could get it stand alone, but I am getting BL so $2500 isn't terrible even if I plan to sell off the suspension and tires and wheels.

You can get the 4.7 for free on the BL without going to the sas package

I don't think you can recreate the Sasquatch package cheaper with aftermarket parts.

1. OEM leverage mass production & purchasing power to keep per unit pricing lower.

2. OEM packages are fully tested and certified to meet all performance, safety & durability requirements.

3. OEM Sasquatch wheels are forged. Try sourcing forged wheels in the aftermarket. >$2500 for five wheels.

4. OEM wheels comes with the correct offsets to compensate for the higher ride height. Thus, keeping rollover limits to the same/nearly the same as non-Sasquatch.

When I do my BL build the 4.7 option is available at no cost without having to go squatch. If you stick with the manual it defaults to the 4.7. Switching to auto gives you the option.

My badlands will come with the 4.7 gearing, since it will be a manual. I'll take the $2500 savings on the Sasquatch package and $1,900 savings on auto and putting them towards a 2" lift, performance tune, wheels and tires.
