Check the events tab at pnwbronco on FB. Lots of stuff going on. Scott organized 2 in the last month or so iirc.
Yup! PNW Broncos is a great group that is focused on actually getting out there and doing things.

The problem is that everyone doesn't have a Facebook account. Someone needs to post them to the club section on this forum.
Understood, I'll try to remember to post events here on the Bronco6g PNW Bronco Group page

I've successfully avoided FB or Meta or whatever it's called now. My wife on the other hand stares at it for hours watching animal videos, so maybe she can get connected.
It's a tool that is useful in some areas and can be a time-suck in others. It's all about how you use it.

Next up was a Ford ProCal Tune.
It made a nice little improvement in throttle response and acceleration and shifting is now smoother and quicker. It wasn't as pronounced as I expected, but the power delivery and shifting is very refined. I was happy it helped to negate the downsides of the larger and heavier tires.

No photos of the tune, but here are some photos from exploring a new area on New Year's Day. We're caught up to 2025 now, so hopefully I can get this journal up to real-time soon!

Next up was a full PPF wrap (minus tailgate) with STEK. Over the last year, no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't bring myself to not care about the paint/clearcoat. The metallic in the Eruption green just looks too good in the sun to pinstripe it all up. A lot of the trails out here in WA are old forestry roads and the more rugged and interesting of them are usually fairly overgrown. So we'd either spend a bunch of time clearing limbs or turning back. Or blasting through it then buffing it out afterwards. So PPF it is. It won't stay looking perfect forever, but at least the paint underneath should still be in good shape when it's removed. The PPF is a sacrificial layer so to speak.

Example of some pinstriping that I buffed out:

We've had the PPF for a few months now and it is holding up surprisingly well. We've been through stuff that would have scratched the clearcoat, but didn't even mark the PPF.

Shortly after we did a fun snow run with the PNW Broncos group led by @ezapar 2

And the final mod (for now anyway) was a Sasquatch Spare Tire Carrier
With the 0mm offset wheels, the spare stuck out in an awkward way. The tire looked like it was hanging off the back as opposed to tucked up against. The sasquatch carrier is an inch shorter than the non-sas carrier. Not a huge difference, but an improvement nonetheless:

If care about shiny paint I think the PPF is worth it. We're no longer worrying about branches touching the paint when out on the trails.
