I've searched the forum, Google, Etsy and everywhere else I can think. Just want some form of basic hook that can attach to the MOLLE grid on the Ford cargo enclosure. Something easy to hook grocery bags on, not a carabiner. I feel like this should be simple, but can't find anything like it.

Your best bet may be to go with a hook and loop cinch strap like the one below. Run it thru your Molle panel and cinch in place until you need it.

Yeah, I've been considering something like this. Hard to believe someone hasn't put out a basic plastic hook that holds itself to the metal with pressure. I can always drill in screw mounted hooks, but figured that was more complex than needed.

Probably because “Molle” is mostly used in military, backpacking and tactical gear so no need for a “plastic hook”.

I get it. Not always gonna be just trail gear I'm packing though. Was hoping to take advantage of the "modular" aspect.

I found that the initial clips I bought were not so great. Below is the clip and velcro strap that does work well:

I used 2in clips but 1in should work better. The velcro strap is 12" x 1" but can be less than 12"

1" clips:

12" x 1" straps. (Can use shorter straps)

I like your solution, but I've gotta ask... Why not use the grocery hooks that are already built in to the seatbacks? I was only thinking for the grid I added to the cargo area.

Just trying different things with these straps. I'm looking to be able to share the same straps, clips, etc. with my backpack which also has a molle inset.
