So I haven't really had any time with the top down and driving around, but Spring is approaching and I can't wait to be able to do so!

I keep reading about "seat belt flapping" being an issue in the Bronco, Wranglers, and other convertible vehicles. Can someone please clarify for me if this flapping is coming from the seat belt buckle hitting the seat/pillar? Or is it something else?

I'm trying to find a solution that works well, and is easy (Yes, I know Sticker Fab has a solution coming, but I don't want to wait). Please post your pictures of your solution, which will also help me figure out where the flapping is coming from.

Thanks!

P.s. - If it matters, I have a 4 door.

I know a lot of Jeep guys that just buckle the seat belts. Another thing you can do is get velcro straps to hold the top of the belt together but if you have passengers they'll have to undo them.

What do you mean by “top of the belt?” I’m fine with undoing it when passengers are in the vehicle.

I guess I wasn't very clear in my first post and maybe sounded sarcastic (shocker, right?) But if you buckle the unused seatbelts it should cut down on the flapping

I didn’t think you were being sarcastic in your first post. I do now though! Jk

I thought doing that might make it flap even more against the seat. I’ll give that a whirl and see how it is.

Haha, sorry, after I read it back I could just see someone thinking "yeah, dumbass, I buckle my seatbelt" 😂

I love it, but I'm not spending $20 in shipping lol. Looking for something "home made" :)
Look closely at those plastic pieces. They are just 3D printed plastic parts. And 3D printers are not crazy expensive. Perfect tool for Do It Yourself (DIY) home made projects. And if you are clever other 3D print projects for your Bronco include mobile phone holder, gopro camera mount, sunglasses holder, etc.

Hey, if you didn't like the suggestions above... Amazon has several different types of clips you may like and I imagine you have free shipping n 2 day delivery.

In the end... the cause of your problem is it's a four (4) door!!! LOL

Team 2 Door...
