At least it's not like the 90's, when we had those STUPID door-mounted seatbelts that you had to sliiiiide under like you were limbo dancing, or the tracks over the window frames that could choke you to death with the shoulder belt if you weren't in the right position when you closed the door!

Kids today don’t know how good they have it. They never had to drive a crap box where you had to knock on a stranger’s door to put water in your radiator. Today Help is only a cell phone call away. My parents let me buy a ‘78 VW Rabbit that the previous owner had removed the door attached seatbelts. Somehow I survived.

Had a rental car one week with the rat on a track. Opened the door to glance back and it caught me around the neck and pinned me there. Meanwhile my wife was bent over laughing and wasn’t any help at all.

I found a new seatbelt for those that find it too difficult to put a regular seatbelt on. This looks far easier

I've had no issues accessing my front seatbelts but if this recall (retention clip) prevents the passengers seat belt from flopping around while I'm driving then I am all for it.
