So my Gen 1 Explorer and my SportTrac both had the seatbelts mounted where rear seat passengers could step on them and tweak you. I searched through all the forum pictures when I was reminded of this opportunity for mischief and I think that this picture of the Overland concept confirms that the lower mount for the seat belt is higher in the B- column than the floor and isn’t in danger of being tugged by errant rear seat passengers.
Have any of you had that experience with older Fords? Will we be saved from the scourge of seat-belt steppers in the new Bronco?
