The reservation itself can't be transferred, but you could agree to order to their specs and sell to them once you bought from the dealer. The reservation holder would still have to actually buy it from the dealer before switching ownership, so it would technically be a used vehicle at that point.

That's what i thought, as far as I know you can only transfer the reservation to someone in your family, and you both have to go in to the dealer to do it.

Lucky bidder ends up paying sales tax twice on the same vehicle.

That's what i thought, as far as I know you can only transfer the reservation to someone in your family, and you both have to go in to the dealer to do it.

I was told you cant even do that by Granger. I was going to give mine to my dad when I went a different way.

taxes are done in the state the buyer resides (registers vehicle) regardless of the state they buy in.
