My appt. is monday 11:00 to 12:00 see ya there 👍🤞
Nice! Enjoy the moment and screw pictures. We've seen pictures of these two Broncos on here plenty.

I have my first vaccination shot at 11 and I get to see a Bronco at 6. I'd say that I literally cannot ask for a better day... if only they had a 2-door to show.

So is mine...so how do these appointments work anyway? Is it going to be a small mob in hour blocks or something?

From the videos and pics I've seen. They get that hours small mob together, go through a little demonstration, and then you rotate through being able to sit in the vehicles.

Went to San Jose to see the two Broncos yesterday. (Note: I was blown away by them) After you sign in and get temp check and the free cheap carabiner, they give a 15 minute speech that is everything you already know. You then get to sit in both and they wipe them clean between people. They will open the hood upon request and they didn’t really rush me through. Everyone says it but they really are even better in person.

I was at the Capitol Ford for the 4pm slot and had my 21 rubicon parked in front for comparison. The sales people didn’t know it was mine and were commenting on how the bronco looked better. People in line were also looking back and forth to compare....was pretty funny!
Wife and I sat and both broncos, and comparing to the wrangler, different things stood out in each vehicle. But good to see in person...now just need my FE in hand to drive to really run a hands on test!.....build starts early June.....let the countdown begin!

I was 5pm. I saw your Rubicon out front! Sweet ride.

  1. Washout interior is awesome. Wish the First Edition got it like we were previously promised.
  2. The stereo didn't work, so didn't get to hear the upgraded speakers.
  3. Sitting in it, at 6'1", I felt a little cramped. Steering wheel also felt pretty small.
  4. The most astonishing thing I took away was how short (in vertical height) the windshield is. I feel like so much view is obstructed. The open air experience via the top is great, but the actual periphery of the windshield is so, so small to me.
  5. Soft tops aren't my thing.
All this time and anticipation, I thought it was going to be love at first sight. Maybe my expectations are too high? Maybe it's because none of the models are/have anything I want (2 door, hard top, sasquatch, first edition interior/specs, etc)?

Gotta be honest, guys. I'm having doubts for the first time. I feel like I need to drive my build to see if this is for me. 😬

Great to finally see them in person.
My impressions.
As many have already mentioned the scale of them is larger than in photos. The fender flares look better in person, especially the Outer Banks, maybe due to it being black. The onyx/roast interior is better in person as the roast color is darker than any photos I had seen to date and the bronze dash looks fine with it. Not sure about the light blue handles but they can be swapped. Seats very comfortable in both. The MGV is softer than I expected and dare I say supple. Might get clammy on a hot day but I am doing leather. I like the molle seat backs on the Black Diamond and wish they were on the OBX. Rear seats were comfortable and it was easy to get in the back. No need to contort to get into the back as I have when getting into the back door of a Rubicon 4 door. I did not like the rear bumper on the OBX as it was a bit bland compared to the front bumper and definitely not as beefy looking as the Black Diamond rear bumper. The steel wheels on the Black Diamond look great and with the tire combo appear larger in scale in person than in photos.
This photo is as close to the true color of the roast leather as it was in person.

Yikes! Thanks for your honesty. The seating position and view was what I was most curious about since I'm 6'4". The specs look good on paper for a vehicle this size, but it sounds like I should try to sit in one live. Anyone know where they are going next in the Bay Area?

Yesterday the people driving the cars were saying they are going to be in San Francisco today, not sure where though as the lady didn't know where it was. Maybe @Gloff might be able to tell ya.

Yeah, they told us SF, I think they just don't know the Bay Area and how small the city actually is.
