This is a cross post from the California subforum.

I was seeing a lot of questions about dealers from the Bay Area, and it was clear our policy was being missed by some in California.

Bronco enthusiasts,

My name is Sean McLaughlin, I am the Bronco Specialist here at Serramonte Ford. Some of you may know me from the Focus RS forums, as I'm sure there is some crossover from that performance world.

I was reading through some posts and saw some bad information, misguided information, and a lot of great information. First and Foremost, we are not marking up any Reservation with our store. We will also fully honor any X-Plan eligible customer. X-Plan Programs are at the discretion of Ford, and as long as they offer it on your model, we will honor it. X-Plan requires that we verify eligibility, so do let us know what sponsor (your company, eligible member club, or Friends/Neighbors Sponsor) you have so we can let you know what we would need.

I have about 10 years experience with Ford here at this store. For those of you who have orders with us, feel free to PM me here, or you can reach out to me at the store (650-301-7084), or email at [email protected].

For everyone: feel free to post your Bronco, Ford, X-Plan, or any other question relating to the Bronco family. While my vehicle preference has always been on-road, I am an enthusiast like many of you here, and look forward to this new truck. I have an Outer Banks on reservation!

10/2/2020 Edit:

Serramonte Ford Bronco6G Pricing

Ladies and Gents, thank you for your patience. Here is what we're going to offer to any B6G member that PM's me before 10/31/2020.

Pricing:
All B6G members with Bronco Reservations with us or converted to us by 10/31/2020, and PM me their name, Reservation number, and email will be eligible.

All Trims, 2 door and 4 door, EXCEPT First Edition will be $500 over invoice if you are not an AZDX Plan Customer. First Edition without a plan pin will be MSRP. We will discuss with individual x-plan holders about the pricing for First Edition.

If you are eligible for a plan program (A, Z, D, or X) we will accept it on any model. Regular Plan rules apply of course, and you must have your pin at time of purchase (when your Bronco arrives at the dealership for delivery).

We wanted to be fair to both plan customers and non-plan customers. We also want to maintain the integrity of the X-Plan program, which should run anywhere from $50-$200 above invoice. We want to make sure X-Plan remains a benefit to those who have the eligibility rather than give a blanket discount that surpasses the program.

Order deposit:
We are not asking for additional deposits beyond the $100 you already committed.

Order Details:
Once we can start conversions in December, we will be reaching out individually to schedule an order consultation to confirm your vehicle colors, tops, options, and accessories. I have yet to discuss accessory pricing, but should have something by conversion time.

Schwag:
We plan to do some additional swag, but the details haven't been hammered out yet. I will update this space when we do have information to share. We wanted to get our pricing out first and foremost, so this took a backseat for a short time.

Other Stuffs:
We have some other communications planned. Prior to the Bronco Specialist role, I did and continue to do most of the special ordering in the store, so I have some extensive experience tracking special orders. Ford is going to use the same tracking system they did when they redesigned Mustang in 2015, and it's more transparent than other model lines. I'll still have a little deeper access to individual orders from our store, so feel free to reach out to me for any updates.

10/20/2020 Edit:

I am keeping the original post unmodified for transparency. As outlined in the beginning of this post, and Ford's Plan rules, all Plan Pricing was and is contingent on Bronco Plan eligibility. In light of Ford's announcement that Bronco will not be X-Plan eligible, we are making the following commitment.

The following applies to all B6G members that are current reservation holders with us, or switch to us and contact me with their reservation info and name before 10/31/2020. This announcement supersedes any previous pricing announcements.

If you are X-Plan: We will honor X-Plan with a valid pin at time of delivery on all trims except First Edition. The calculation will be the same as the program 0.4% below invoice + $275. We will calculate this on the actual invoice price, which includes Destination and Delivery as well as any options that are factory invoiced.

If you are not X-Plan: Our existing pricing offer is still valid $500 above invoice, First Edition is excluded.

A/Z/D Plan Members: Still eligible for plan pricing as of 10/20/2020 on all trims except First Edition.

First Edition: All First Edition are MSRP.

Other Updates:
Bronco Magnets will be mailed out shortly to all reservation holders. We will have more Schwag to come at order conversion time as well!
20201016_153541.jpg

10/22/2020 Edit:
Since I'm getting a lot of questions on it here are Ford's instructions to switch:

Can Customers update their dealer selection for their reservation?

Customers may reach out to Ford Customer Support at (800) 334-4375 for assistance in updating their dealer selection. In changing dealers, there will be no impact to a customer's reservation ID, vehicle details, or the associated timestamp.

10/23/2020 Edit:
Couple things:
First:
BUILD AND PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second since it was asked often enough:

If you're going with X-Plan, you can provide me your PIN now, or at time of delivery. We just need the pin for verification, so it really doesn't matter when we receive it. What I would like is for you to screenshot your X-Plan PIN email, or forward the email to [email protected].

Third: We do not have any mandatory add ons at our dealership.
We do offer Extended Service Contracts, Ford Pre-Paid Maintenance, and other optional items should they interest you. All of them are optional.

10/28/2020 Update
We've set up our Bronco Specific email, it is [email protected]. Send all requests to there or on the PM here on the forum

10/30/2020 Edit
Due to the Success of our program, we are extending the deadline for claiming our pricing offer until 11/30/2020.

11/4/2020 Edit:

Ladies and Gentlemen from outside California switching to us:

Since we are a licensed California Dealer, California's rules are that if the vehicle is driven on CA roads you have to pay CA sales tax. You don't have to pay registration, but there is a trip permit so that you can drive it out of state. The cost of the Trip permit is $22. Most states recognize taxes paid to California and will credit that upon registration in your home state. Check with your State's Tax Board and/or DMV to verify your state recognizes taxes paid outside of your state of registration.

Our business office has made it clear we have to charge sales tax for our municipality of Colma, CA which is 9.25% for out of state customers only.

Edit: To clarify, if you are a CA resident, you pay sales tax where you register your new Bronco in California, this update was for out of state customers as stated above.

11/11/2020 Edit:
For those that need to speak with me, my direct line is 650-301-7084. I now have a Voicemail set up as well!

12/2/2020 Edit:
Sent out an email to our reservation holders today. Looking forward to working with you all!

SCHWAG!!!!!!!

All of our order conversions will spin the wheel to win one of the three prizes below. They'll also be entered into our drawing for the grand prize. Details to come after order conversion!

12/4/2020 Edit:
Good news for those that want to switch to Serramonte Ford! We've are EXTENDING OUR B6G OFFER UNTIL 12/31/2020.

X-Plan for Eligible Members
$500 over invoice if you're not X-Plan eligible.

As before, email [email protected] after you switch to notify us and lock in your deal!

Thank you B6G!

And for those that haven't been a part of the thread in the California forum, Sean is a stand up guy. If I were driving west instead of east, that's where I'd be going based on interactions here and transparency.

If you transfer your reservation before 10/31/2020 and notify me on here, yes. You'll still need an X-Plan pin at vehicle delivery, we want that for verification, you could use it on another car as well.

This all looks good with the exception of First Edition at MSRP. Why not allow First Edition at X plan price for X plan customers since Ford dropped X plan for all regular Bronco models and it will still be more dealer profit on that model vs any other model? Thanks for helping out the Bronco community!

First Edition is much more limited than standard Bronco, so we decided to keep it at MSRP. First Edition is not eligible for A/Z/D plan either. We also assumed it wasn't going to be X-Plan eligible from the get go, as is standard with limited run vehicles with Ford.

I called and spoke with Sean today. He seems like a good guy and had no problem taking several minutes talking to me. The original dealer I had (Auburn Ford in Auburn, Ca) couldn't be bothered with calling me back or offering any incentive at all to stay with them. After talking to Sean, I transferred my reservation to Serramonte Ford. I look forward to dealing with Sean.

Considering making the switch, but still on the fence. If I stick with my plan of Base model only plus roof rack, keypad entry, and headliner I'm only looking at about $250 in savings and it will require a 4hr round trip from Sacramento. It makes more sense if I upgrade to Black Diamond which will be about $1100 in savings. I'm going to wait until build and price to see if I want any additional upgrades that makes it worth the drive.

Invoice on the 4Dr Base is $498 below MSRP. So, $500 over invoice in their offer is actually charging you $2 more than MSRP.

Yes, but I have X plan. Also, going with 2 door. 4 door isn't really a Bronco. lol.

Totally understand, if you do switch, let me know!

Correct, in this scenario, we'd charge MSRP of course. We don't expect many Base models though.

I think you'll be surprised how many Base models sell. That's all some people want and a lot of people want to Squatch a Base. Base-Squatch-2Dr is a great deal.

Indeed. We believe that some of the Base reservations were done mistakenly and will be changed to other models. I looked at my reservations though, and you're right, we have more than I thought!

I’ve got a first day reservation, would like to switch to Serramonte. Mulling benefits when it’ll likely be delayed (base, man., sasq., ox.white+ wht.top) and won’t save much on Xplan. I value a principled dealer though.
