We've all seen the horrors of what happens when companies take your money first, and promise to deliver......later, maybe. Too often this turns into months of waiting at best, and recently we've all seen the worst case scenario play out.

For over 20 years we've been doing things differently at SFR. Simply put, we don't sell what we don't have. We keep inventory on our products and if we're out of stock on something our web site won't let you purchase it. Seems pretty simple really, if I can't get you the parts you want in a reasonable time I'd rather you have your money in your own wallet, not my bank account. It's how we feel business should be done. Too many places want you to pay before they even build what they are selling, or they are selling another companies product and want to sell it before they buy it from the manufacturer. You should not be fronting the money for our production. Part of the cost of doing business is fronting that money ourselves, building the parts, and having them on hand so when you're ready to buy, we're ready to deliver.

For the 6G Bronco we build Front and Rear bumpers, a winch mount, various light mounting brackets, skid plates, control arm skids, steering tie rod sleeves, rock sliders/steps for both 2 and 4 doors, Adjustable 7075 Aluminum rear suspension links, Rear control arm bracket guard plates, Crash Bar deletes, Intercooler mounting brackets, and of course our new line of Scratchuatch Wheel Rings in a bunch of colors, and we keep adding more products all the time.

All of it IN STOCK and MADE IN THE USA

I’m ordering a pair of weld-on crash bar delete brackets today. I really like how simple and logical your parts are built. Thanks for operating a legitimate Bronco upgrade business we can trust.

I can attest, since I've bought the full bumper/rock rails/plates plus the crash bar mount delete and intercooler mounts: you get it quick. He got it all in the mail every time within 3-4 days and nothing was missing (even when I thought so, but my head is square sometimes...).

Plus, it's really good stuff made simply but marvelously by someone who clearly knows what they're doing. I've also bashed it all several times and the stuff takes a punch. Also got a good response in support.

I thought about a shout out in that other thread ( ) but kinda didn't want to get you pulled into that if you didn't want to be.

I always appreciate good word of mouth from customers. This isn't the first time mistakes another company has made have reinforced our feelings about how we do things. I'd MUCH rather people be upset that I'm out of stock and won't take their money then have them upset that I haven't delivered something they paid for.

I'll probably be getting the rear LCA brackets soon; I've whacked them pretty good last three times out.

Have you considered some front LCA brackets like Barnes has? The ones you can see from the front? Definitely feel like I need to get that worked out, I whacked a boulder and watched another guy scrape his and got to thinking, they probably need to be reinforced. Barnes has some weld on ones, so not a big deal but figured I'd check first.

I've definitely considered it, but really came to the conclusion that there's just not a good way to do it as a bolt on solution. I've worked on a couple weld on designs, but I'm not sure how well they would sell in this marketplace. Seems most Bronco owners are very turned off by things that require welding. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, if you don't have it done much and/or have someone you trust, it can feel like a whole thing. Probably not a huge profit maker either. I'll just go with the Barnes setup.

That will change as these vehicles age and owners are less afraid to make permanent modifications. I like the weld on body mounts/crash bar deletes for instance . Just ordered mine.

Is there a 6G discount code?
We run sales a couple of times a year, but really that's about it. We don't have any ongoing discounts for any groups. I know a lot of people may be turned off by that, but here's the reasoning. In order to offer a discount we have to offset that with higher prices somewhere else. There's a limit to how low the price can be on any given item and make it profitable. We do our best to keep our prices as low as we can on all products all the time so that everyone is getting the best deal possible. There just isn't a whole lot of room in the normal pricing to account for discounts.

There's also the simple fact that any discount code we post here could easily be found by anyone with a simple google search, so then it's no longer a discount only for forum members. We'd prefer to simply keep our prices as low as we can for everyone, everyday.

I'm positive you're right. For most of our existence we've made parts for older Jeeps, and those owners don't even think twice about weld on parts. To be honest I personally want to reinforce my own control arm brackets so I will probably end up designing what I want, then reproducing it for sale. That's how half the stuff we build has come about LOL. @userdude thanks for the reminder.

I agree and I did a search and actually tried to delete that post before you responded. lol. Good reasoning.

For what, about $500 more you're getting skid plates that are more numerous (LCA and transmission), plus they're twice as thick, than the stock Ford ones. It's stout stuff. They've been doing the free shipping too. I was able to get it all (bumpers, rock rails and plates) for about what two high end bumpers alone would've cost, and I definitely prefer what he's got to most everything I've seen.

A lot less electronics. That's really my big fear, somebody doing a crappy job is in the background of that. I'd say I'd try to learn to do it myself, but then I'd have a fool for a client... lol

That's a valid fear. Realistically simply disconnecting the battery and keeping the ground close to where you're welding eliminates virtually all the risk though. For most I think the apprehension is more that it's just a very new expensive vehicle, sometimes leased, but almost always with a payment, and permanent mods feel sketchy. I get it, I spent quite a bit of time treating my Bronco with kid gloves before finally swallowing hard and getting out the sawzall :ROFLMAO:

Exactly the type of parts I like to buy. From a real user not something designed and bolted to a show princess to make the show circuit.
