So like many of you, I have been contemplating which Bronco model to choose.
I discovered the 360 colorizer on Ford's website and made a discovery.

The 4-Door viewer shows the Shadow Black roof option, and I've got to say, it looks so sharp!
The 2-Doors grey roof looks good too, but something about that black top looks so rich in my personal opinion.

After months of debating, here is how I think I will spec my Bronco:

Model: 2-Door
Trim: Badlands
Engine: 2.3L
Transmission: Manual
Color: Cactus Grey

OPTIONS:
Lux Package
Tow Package
Roof Rack
Shadow Black Hardtop

It's okay, the MIC grey top is what I really wanted all along. Doesn't bother me that they charge extra for the black. Gives it character you know.

I'll probably change my mind a few dozen times between now and December.

The painted black top is a must for me. It just looks too nice to pass it up.

Black painted top, so I can drop it off at the body shop to have the top painted white first thing!

I too am looking at the black top but it’s more as a compromise as I want black but would prefer it MIC to better match the flares.

The painted gloss black hard top is on the Fishing Bronco.
The shiny black looks mismatched with all the matte black parts of the truck.
I would agree if all of the greys/matte blacks matched. They don't match either though. ?

Prefer the grey, gloss black gonna look dirty all the time and show scratches too easily.
Agreed. I plan on removing the top a lot (and putting it back on a lot too, since Michigan weather is so unpredictable) and even popping the freedom panels in the back on road trips. I don't want to have to worry about damaging glossy black paint all the time. For me, the more rugged MIC top better fits my intended use. I'd prefer black MIC, but the grey is not a deal breaker for me.

I don't want to deal with the scratches, dust, rain spots, and smears on a painted black top

All valid points I agree with...not to mention the prolly $2K upcharge.

But...but...but the ORIGINAL pre-pro MIC tops were in fact black...then Ford changed the spec. Any idea why?
