I want to set up an organized storage system for the tailgate and rear for all my MTB gear. Things like helmet, water pack, water bottles, tools, gear bag, etc.

I want a molle system and like the idea of having a table if I need a small workbench at the trail.

I'm thinking a combo of these two products. Anyone have a good MTB gear set up to share?

ford threw this in free when i got my bronco:

Amazon.com: Genuine Ford AE5Z-78115A00-A Large Cargo Organizer : Automotive

it folds down to nothing and has four compartments.

i use one for helmet, one for gear, and one for locks/tools and random shit. the fourth is open and throw my dirty gear in post ride.

I also added a molle panel on one side that i have a tool box zipped to.

I will be building out the back of mine for an MTB setup as well. I have a 2 door and just removed the seats. Going to start by building some type of platform. Also looking for a good airtight storage box maybe roam to store the sweaty stuff.

Please share your progress. I gotta believe there are more MTB people here.

I did a little upgrade this morning to my rack. I have the 1-up rack with the rack attach. Due to the angle of the bracket on the rack i was not able to fully open the rear door without swinging the rack away as the tire would bump into the rack, which kinda sucks.

Luckily you can purchase a reverse side kit from 1-up. I think you can actually order your rack this way from the start but i had it on another car when i got it that didnt have this issue. Basically the kit reverses the direction of the side pieces to lower the bike carrier.

It wasn’t too bad of an install, small issue getting one of the long bolts back on but overall it took me about a half hour to install the conversion kit. Now the rack sits low enough that if I do not have a bike on the back i can fully open the back door. 👍

Got this combo sitting in the garage waiting for my Bronco. The rack is a limited edition. 1Up did them to raise money for charity.

it has been dubbed “Captain America”

You spend all the money for a MTB that weighs nothing, why not just mount it here like this?

bike and stereo!
stereo upgrade was as follows. Kicker 200.4 and 500.1 amps. For speakers I did Autofrog GS60 (kickpanel), GS42(dash) and GS12D2x2(subs) I am waiting for someone to do a new rear pod enclosure that can hold 6” speakers then will add GS62 to the rear.

My bike is a Fezzari Delano Peak. Did a custom build last year: PNW dropper, bars, stem, grips, SRAM GX drivetrain with AXS. I have an absolut black oval ring. Stans flow MK4 rims with i9 hydra hubs, Swalbe tires and TRP Trail Evo brakes. I LOVE the setup. I am in the northeast so lots of rocks and roots and the delano just eats it all up. Great climber but LOVEs to go down whether its smooth (not much of that around lol) or chunky.
