are you able to take the front panels off without removing the half rack?

any experience with wind noise vs a full rack?

I can remove the whole top without removing the rack. But yes, the front panels come out...

Wind noise isn't that bad... never had a full rack, so I can't make that comparison.

@JcrOffroad followed through and now I have the fairings! VERY nice!!!

Hey I bought a similar rack from Hooke-Road, and while I love the way it looks, almost identical to the one you have from JC, it makes a slightly buffering noise inside - sort of like when you have just the front window rolled down. Something is not quite right. Do you experience any issues with the half rack from have from JC?

It can sometimes have a hum (best word) at around 45/50mph... but not all the time.
