Last week I called Ford Customer Service to switch dealers, Ford.com still shows my previous dealer. I am a worrier, by nature, should I be concerned?

Make sure you call the marketing number hotline.

Call Ford at 800-334-4375.

Opt 1 English (or Option 2 Spanish)

Then take Opt 3, for Marketing.

So, apparently my deposit was paid on a debit card, that was renewed because it expired in Nov. That triggered an error that has to be corrected manually, was told by Ford, should be done by March 19. Yet again, another strike by Ford!

Oh yeah. Someone else in the forum had a big issue when their card got replaced.

This isn’t Ford’s fault. This is a CC/debit card processing problem.

That’s good to know, atleast it’s happened to someone else.

I wonder if I can find that discussion. I can’t remember what the resolution was (whether it was through Ford, their bank, or someone else).

Sucks to find yourself in the position, but at least try to capitalize on the first guy’s experience!

I had this exact situation happen to me but the reservation switch eventually went through.. I lost my card and had it replaced and they couldn't credit my $100 back on the lost card. Like I said, it was eventually taken care of after a few weeks.

That isn't Ford's fault. When your card renews, the valid date changes as well as the 3 digit security code.
