Looks good, what made you go with 0 offset instead of the 18?
Thank you! I wanted a little poke. Like the look and hoping it “protects“ the fender a little in my future adventures.

The RTR wheels were my 2nd choice. I had another picked out (w headlocks) but they were +12 so i thought that was a little too much poke so I settled on the RTR 0 o/s. Glad I did since the design grew on me.

Yours is so nice also. I think yours will convince me to switch out for the BFG 39”

Been waiting to see someone put projects on a bronco. I was definitely going to think about doing it on my SAS NonBrap but it looks so great. Always been obsessed over the KRT and KR2/3’s (used to have an 04 F150 with gen1 raptor suspension that I was always on the prowl for BFG projects)

I’ll admit I wasn’t a huge fan of projects, at first, but they’ve definitely grown on me!!!

I'm running the same RTR 17x9 wheels but w 0 offset and Nitto Trail Grapplers 38x13.5 and RPG collars 2.25. However, in reading this thread and comparing tire weights, I'm seriously considering going to the BFG to save around 11 lbs per wheel. Anyone wants a set of Nittos w about 700 miles on them? Lol

Man, this looks so good. Are you running 2.25 collars on all 4 corners? Is the back loaded with weight or is it dry? I love the stance on your braptor. The nittos are a little heavier, but I’ve heard they balance really well. I’ve heard quality control on BFGs has really gone down, but that’s all hearsay as I don’t have any personal experience with them. Is the difference between the 37” bfg k02 and the 38” nitto that noticeable?

Thank you! I just double checked and the shop confirmed that it is 1.5 fr and 2.25 rr. On the pics, the top photo is dry, no cargo and the other 2 pics are fully loaded with cargo hitch basket, kids and a husky in the back, etc. With no cargo, it sits even so i think what the shop did with 1.5/2.25 is perfect and seems to be in-line with what others did on this forum.

Funny you mentioned balance. I've had this set up only about 10 days and 700 miles and after having the wheels and tires balanced by 2 different shops, I can't seem to get rid of a low vibration at certain speed. The 2nd shop (4 Wheel Parts) told me that they balanced it without bead bags and I have no reason not to believe them but the vibration persists. I will take it to another off road specialist shop today to have them diagnose it but it annoying and partly the reason for me considering the BFG instead. That and losing 44+ lbs of rotating mass is never a bad thing....

I think you meant -12 offset and NOT +12

On Monday I'm getting a 4" Zone lift and 37" Falken Wildpeaks... hopefully they run bigger than the BFGs similar to the Nittos you posted

Thats why I went with the BFG's. I have RTR 17x9 +18 with the 39x13.5 KO2's and I am only 6-7lbs above the stock weight due to the wheel weighing less

Stock: 95lbs
RTR +39" KO2: 101lbs

Does the KO2 rides smooth and do you feel any tremblings? i have very low tremblings at certain speed after 2 balancing and 1 alignment so I’m thinking it’s the Nitto’s with it’s huge spaced apart threads. So if it rides smooth, then another reason for me to switch to the KO2.

I have 39" KO2 and they ride very smooth. I do not have any trembling. My shop gad no issues balancing them either.

Will double check today but I dont recall any tremble beyond what’s expected from an AT tire. Ride is definitely comfortable. What PSI are you riding at? Have you tried lowering it?

I've heard tons of folks having problems balancing K02s. I've had some myself but most of all of that was being lazy/late with rotations.
