We took delivery today and just thought I’d post this since I’ve seen other people ask about these two colors. We painted our ‘68 Calvary Blue a few years ago and I was wondering if the two colors would look nice together or if they’d look “off”.

Love that BCBroncos safari top on your ’68. IMO, the most attractive and functional top for an EB. Somewhere buried deep in classicbroncos.com is a thread where I posted photo install instructions for the BC top. You and your wife have a couple of great looking blue rigs! Congrats and enjoy!

Both colors look nice, though I prefer the shade of CB.

My FJ was cav blue. It was a nice subtle color. It looked good cleaned up but also didn't show dirt like darker colors.

I love the older colors on the older vehicles, but I’m not sure how well they will transfer to the new design. The green sure didn’t transfer well.

I absolutely love the tan top! Looks great with that Cav-Blue.

Hoping a tan top comes out by the aftermarket. Also, want to see it on a few of the other colors to see how well it looks.

For some reason this provoked deeper thoughts about how today's culture, in a world of overwhelming grayscale, still cant collectively provide enough demand for a true blue such as calvary. Area 51 is a reminder than even a blue needs a splash of gray to appease the current masses, or least seem more unique/appealing. "A straightforward blue? Why would we do that??"
