Looking to add side steps to my 4dr SAS Badlands and remove the rock sliders. Will use the rock sliders when necessary but would need the steps to also be sliders. Not opposed to power steps either. Looking for recs and any pics if you've installed any.

I went with the n-fab tube steps. VERY happy.

I've been looking at those and the ones from rough country. Those look really nice and is there enough space to step and they overall feel good?

I have the GoRhino D6 steps on mine, very happy here as well. Originally I had planned for the DS or DSS as they don't stick out quite so far, but someone on here talked me into these. If you have sasquatch the outside of the bar lines up pretty close with the outside of your fender flares.

Swapping them back out is a solid 45 minutes worth of work, maybe an hour if you take your time. Its one of those thing you say you're gonna do I think :)

The step is perfectly placed for a fluid motion getting into the Bronco. My 5ft. wife loves it too. I wanted something to attach to the body. They feel super sturdy.

I just installed Rough Country's SR2 steps on my Badlands. I considered the N-Fab Nerf steps (theyre about $50 less than Rough Country) but I liked the beefier, squared look of the Rough Country option. Plus they appeared to stick out a little further which I liked to help keep those pesky shopping carts away lol

Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking? Trying to find a sale if possible since my Bronco was ordered a month ago

I went with go rhino DSS, which they advertise as working as a rock rail too

I think they have the perfect amount of “stick out”, more than a slider but not as much as like the D6.

Here’s a pic (not my bronco)

I would not be worried about finding a quick sale, you have some time before your Bronco arrives. Sadly, a great deal of time most likely.

These look great. I like that they protect the body more from the occasional side-slide. Are these true sliders? How do they mount?

Another vote for gorhino d6. Can get stirrups that can be taken on and off should you need them as well.

Steps and other accessories have gone up in price since the end of last year quite a bit, as demand has risen and supply has tightened. Much harder to find a good deal. D6 has gone up about $150.
