Honestly they'll probably wait to add this later to add some excitement later down the line. Maybe in somewhat of a response to the V8 Wrangler (if Jeep actually makes it for people to purchase).

Do you all think ford is going to squatch the 2.3 manual?

About as likely at this point as asking for a V8... Perhaps.

I had the feeling it might be a possibility they were open to ,it would make my decision much easier.

Naw, they couldn't handle all of the warranty work. And they don't want to as warranty work cuts profit margins. That's why there may never be a Squatch manual.

Disclaimer;): Not relevant to those who prefer auto transmission

I know this is a tired subject, we have already had thousands of posts and complaints about ford not offering the 2.7l engine or the sasquatch package with the manual transmission. We have to choose what will be more important to each of us in regards to these options. 2021 2.7l stick shift is not happening. But I think ford may surprise us and make the squatch available on the manuals. If this happens, does it change anything for you or are you already locked in on what you are getting? and what is more important to you between these options?

I hate the idea of spending 40k for a 4banger, would much prefer at least a 6 for towing. My work vehicle is a 2020 Explorer 3.5L twin turbo and it moves pretty decent. Doesn't feel like the 400hp it is supposed to have, my previous 5.7 hemi charger work vehicle was faster and more torquey. The 2.7 lacking a manual is a no sale for anyone with scruples. I wouldn't upgrade for free.

It might be a 3.0 instead of a 3.5, I'm not a huge ford fanboy and definitely not a huge fan of forced induction. At any rate, it is a fast vehicle but I just am very unhappy with the lack of choice for the trans on the broncster.
