I already have a VIN so I cannot change, I am regretting not getting the switches.. am I able to add this after the fact? Will the pre-run wires still be there?

You have an excellent opportunity to answer both question for the community - if there is no previous information known.

However, I did see somewhere that there were wires, but not upfitted (BB Bronco IIRC)

The switches include wiring to the fuse box and also to a few locations around the vehicle. It would be expensive to retrofit this option. BTW, I've had my Bronco for over a month and other than 2.7L, Sasquatch & hardtop, Aux switches are the only option I got. A no brainer for $195!

There is already a thread about this and some people found the parts to do it and add it where the sunglasses holder currently is located. We are waiting for said part to be installed by the forum member so he can give us a report.

There are a couple of threads in here for this already. For the switches and the housing, you are looking at about $450 plus your time to connect the existing wires in there.
