I was kind of joking, some of the bronze wheels are growing on me, but those Subaru wheels are terrible. The 1993 Subaru WRC car would like to talk to you about bronze wheel fads.
I brought them the wheels and rings, picked a silver color out of their huge selection. This has a lot more depth and flake than the stock silver Ford put on the rings.Did you take your beauty rings to the powder coater and ask them to match?
Looks good!
I like this way more than I thought I would have. Nice!I know this may not be for everyone, or maybe anyone but me. I'm not a huge fan of black wheels, I feel like the details of the wheel are lost. So I decided to have my factory Sasquatch wheels powder coated bright silver metallic. The Bronco needs a wash badly but I had to get some pics after I put them on.

Thanks for the compliments, I honestly expected a much different reaction, much appreciated!
I'll try to go through the questions.
-Cost was $750 all in. (It's AK everything is more expensive)
-Mud flaps are just universal flat flaps.
-I wanted to replace the beauty ring bolts with stainless steel for a little more pop but I couldn't get any locally in time.
I do plan on paint work, grill will have the outer edge painted blue to match and a very close silver to the wheels used on the center to look like a gen 1. Additionally I plan on painting the flares and the MIC top Velocity Blue to match. I believe this will tie it all together more.
I ran it through the car wash tonight and being clean makes a huge difference, I'll get better pics tomorrow in daylight.
Here's clean with a little sunlight.
I'm loving it more and more as the days go on.

Agreed. I am good with Bronze, but only on certain colors, not all. Personal preference.I guess I’m not an old fart yet, but I’m getting there. I do like black wheels, but I kinda feel the same way about these damn kids and the newer bronze wheel fad.
Color me impressed. You are absolutely right that the detail gets lost in the black. Kudos! They look great! Now you have me considering buying a set of pull offs from a new Bronco buyer, to powder coat for a future change of pace. I powder coated my beauty rings black on my AMB Basesquatch, to match the wheels.I know this may not be for everyone, or maybe anyone but me. This is so classic! It brings out other silver details on your bronco too so I think it was a wise choice.I know this may not be for everyone, or maybe anyone but me.
