Question, I have a Badlands with Sasquatch 4 door and looking for skid for the trans that covers these crossmembers or supports. I highlighted them in the pic below. Mine are all beat up from wheeling and I would like to limit the damage to them.

Thank you, it annoys me that they hang so low. I just don't understand why they designed them like that. Mine look destroyed already. 1k seems steep though.

I plan on just cutting them out and replacing them with some round tube and higher so they won't catch stuff. :)
I plan on cutting them out & supporting higher as well. Still need my Bronco to figure it out though :sneaky:
Once completed, please post pics of your solution if you will Sir

Oh, I though you had yours. I might just beat you as I'm scheduled D-Day week. Delivery might be another thing coming though :sneaky:

LOD transmission skid should be a hard pass, it needs to be extended to cover the cross member. I hit that bent piece on everything, need a smooth skid covering the cross member so you don't roll the rock and cause more damage.

Are you saying you hit this area? (circled in red)

This is the damage I'm trying to limit btw. Oh and ignore the dirt, haven't figured out a way to clean under it yet :)

This spot, its is right at the break over when wheeling. JCR has a smooth transition and less likely to roll a rock vs sliding over. I couldn't make it over an obstacle as I couldn't slide over the rock but kept rolling the rock into my fuel tank. Not bashing the product as this plate would be an improvement, just not worth it for my intended use.
