My Heritage (not Limited) has a carpeted floor with rubber mats. The tits underneath them, atop the carpet, ensure the mats never slide around.
However, the $160 optional plastic "Floor Liners, Front and Rear without Carpet Floor Mats" in my Everglades (rubberized floor alike Badlands) keep sliding and twisting when I get in and unsnapping at the rear. Perhaps if they were thicker, the floor shape would better keep them in place. Really disappointed with Ford's design execution here for $160. Seems like a cheaper "standard equipment" level product.
The Heritage's standard equipment rubber mats (for carpet) seem different and better.
Perhaps the 2 mats are the same material, but the carpeted floor's two mat mounting posts are firmly mounted, whereas with the rubberized floor they are loose and moving around somewhat.
