Same rack works with soft top or hard top. An exo rack is the only way to have a rack over the soft top.

you mean under a soft top. The rack does not go over...on top of...the soft top. The soft top covers...or goes on top of...the rack.

Yeah, the Exposed Rack goes under a soft top or over a hard top. And an exo rack (which that post mentioned) goes over a soft top (or hard top).

Where is a picture of the exo then...all I have seen so far is the one that posted in this thread goes under the top.

So like an exo cage type rack.

This one is kind of stealth and kind of internal but only available when you are exposed.

Not my cup of tea but for beach hounds I can see it being more useful than the factory offering.

Nice idea ,i will proabably make something on my own i need something strong on the outside of the hardtop. I dont need any hassel getting to the beach its become so bad out there already with everyone working from home.

Ideal setup would be in conjunction with a solid bikini/bimini top that can zip/roll back. Curious if they’ll be compatible.

Having them live under the soft top all stealth-like is pretty rad.

Having flexibility to uitilize on hard top - this is having me consider dual top for MY23 and having a slick way to remove components and store in garage on the whim.

Hoping that company comes out with the hoist for the cargo cap…

Nice! Three concerns come to mind...

1. Will they offer them in different colors? Although, the red will be a nice contrast against my Shadow Black.
2. Will this will work with the Bimini mesh top?
3. Guess you're pretty much screwed if you're transporting something long distance and it starts raining.

where's the 4wp soft top roof rack? This is a good idea, but would prefer something where I can have the soft top closed and not have that ugly tube system like they have for the jeeps
