Next up is steering rack, driver side, there’s a fix for that too. After that is steering rack, passenger side, there’s a fix (pricey) for that too

I think the question is, what’s after that? There’s always something after that.

There’s so much electronics in even the steering, it’s designed to shut down power assist for the “after that”

This was a good day and a great lesson for those just getting into off-roading. once I got hooked on off-roading, I
1. Put all the preventative measures in place (skids, braces) to give myself the best chance to make it off the trail in 1 piece and
2. Bring with me all the tools I think i might need if plan A goes south. Spent a lot of time in the shop and on YouTube university educating myself (never worked on a car until 4 years ago).
and 3- Tricky Dick was 100% the man for that job. I’d have gotten it but I have like no experience outside of Jeeps, so I’d not have made it look that easy being the front ends are nothing alike. I’m still an amateur but I’ll attempt most things now

Take a measurement before you brake anything and write it on a piece of tape, put that on your spare and you should be good to go
