Where is that one? Kodak Rock / Rocky Mount or backside Daniel?
Dickey Bell.
Kodak section of Rocky Mtn is closed off, backside of Daniel is mostly tame now with a few rocky sections mid-way, then the pointed smaller rocks everywhere up top.

My biggest fear in taking my Bronco out wheeling (also lifted). I'm still choosing the Gladiator until I do the Bronco Off-Roadeo in two weeks to learn the lines of an IFS set up. This did get me to order a couple spares. Need to get more Broncos out to Hidden Falls here in Texas!

This is a list of trails I just ran in Moab. Shit happens sometimes but you don't have to worry to much just drive like you got some since and your Bronco will serve you well

Dicky Bell must’ve eroded a lot since I last ran it. Seemed tame then.

Hey guys…. We had a great group of Broncos this morning out at Uwharrie in central North Carolina….

I was the only guy rolling on 33s in a stock Black Diamond.

Got myself stuck on a rock, and one of the guys used a kinetic rope to pull me off…but when my left front tire caught traction…the tie rod snapped like a chicken bone.

Thanks to @Mountains2Metal for having the @BroncoBuster tie rod braces to get me off the trail…

And then thanks for @Tricky Dick and @Copperhorse73 for installing a 2004 Ranger tie rod to get me home.

Great lesson on never wheeling alone.

Love your BD! Sucks that it broke. Glad there were spare parts onhand. I am planning to go to 35s before I do any serious wheeling. Looks like your 33s did just fine though. Braces or spare tie rods are on the list too. One of the guys in a MD/DC/VA facebook group was not as lucky as you. He broke BOTH front axles. First one broke and then the other one snapped a few seconds later.

It’s really not that bad if u have Sasquatch package, but if you don’t you will have a few clearance issues. Plus tame is a relative term.

Glad to see the 04 Ranger tie rod works, I carry two with me whenever I’m on more than a forest service road. Thanks for sharing!

I do not want to post who or where it happened. Would hate for Ford to not cover under warranty if they knew. I know... they can find out if they really want to...
This is what the owner wrote, "I was locked front and rear going through a small rock garden. Front wheels got bound up on a rock, but should have climbed it no problem. I wasn't doing anything crazy, I was shocked when I heard the first one break (driver side), I had done wayyy more intense stuff with no issues. I immediately put it in park and the group I was with decided it was best if I just tried to continue forward with three wheel drive since I wasn't hung up on anything. As soon as I put it back into drive and eased on the gas a little bit, the passenger broke."
Here are the other 3 pictures.
