Hey everyone! We get hit up regarding roof rack development all the time. I wanted to make a stand-alone thread for this product progression.

Goals:
- Strong enough to carry the standard dynamic loads you would see from the common gear used for overlanding; roof top tents, hi-lift jacks, solar panels, etc.
- Aluminum construction to save on unsparing weight addition.
- Steel mounting brackets to keep it long lasting and durable.
- Modular; allowing for someone to start with the short rear rack, go to a full rack. Also allow for pairing down based on need. Run just the rear rack when you don’t need a full setup.
- Allow roof racks to still be removable.

4-Door will be first up, followed by a 2-door design.

To give you guys an idea of accessories we already have available for roof racks;

So off we go! Please ask if you have any questions!

Here is our rendering for the 4-door rack! We’ll have more detail as we go along, first step is getting this into a working prototype.

Those of us "poor souls" with softtops only and loath to spend the nearly $6000 (or more counting shipping and painting) for an aftermarket hardtop as none, even MIC, nears any kind of availability for the next several years if ever from Ford, need. a rack that is exo to the roof (as in exoskeleton)

I commend your concept, however, and the modularity

We have had discussions regarding support mounts for the soft top. Unfortunately keeping the top operational with a rack is going to be a problem.

Light mount since you'll probably take the OEM mount for accessories?

Like a light bar? We’ll have front fairings for a 40” single row light bar.
