I have 2 pairs of tennis shoes - one for working out in the park (wet grass), one for working out in the gym, going out socially, errands, etc .. why do you have them all in boxes ?

I can appreciate shoes but I'm no sneaker head. I wear Adidas Sambas and New Balance 574s until they're dead. Then repeat. Have been for years.

My collection topped out at around 150 at one point, but I’m down to just about 30 with most of them being daily wears or for hoops.

Yeah I wear them in a rotation most of the time. Some of them haven’t been worn yet but one day I will break them out of the box.

I'm not into it, but I like the pop culture aspect of it. Like how the shoes reflect the style of the time they were made, marketed and sold.

I always have 2 or 3 shelves in the garage full of running, bicycling and hiking shoes. I am not a sneaker head because I buy them to use them not to collect. Collecting can be a very expensive rabbit hole! A lot of cool and crazy shoes out there for sure.
