Well we had our first real snow fall and I experienced the snow building up on the rear fender flares that blocks the rear doosr on my 4 door from opening.

I had see in the past (before my Bronco came in) that others were having this issue so I searched the forum and was unable to find where anyone came up with a solution to keep the snow from building up.

Any ideas on how to prevent this?

Thanks

I live in West Michigan and have a SAS package on my OBX and haven't had a problem the flares are larger on the SAS and running boards on the rockers keeps most everything off the fenders.

Splash Guards. Some don.t like the look but they do serve a purpose and are needed for some areas of the country.

I might be adding rock sliders/steps which I believe would help as mentioned about the running boards.

I do have Rek Gen mud flaps but that doesn't seem to help.

I never saw the Pam idea before but it might work. I like to use Maxima SC1 on my sled and that may be a solution.

I'm in Minnesota with side steps on mine and I've never had this issue. We have had a ton of snow this year.

I'm in northern Ont. Canada I put the SAS flares, Mud flaps and also have rock sliders on my BD and I still have the same snow build up. Probably side steps would help but that's not happening don't like the look for my personal taste. So I just remove it by hand not the door and learned to live with it.

RCI Rock slider steps and some
Mud flaps solved any issues of snow accumulating on the doors. Wyoming winter tested!

I'm no genius but I would say wipe it off then open the door.
Understood but it started as snow and then turned to rain and froze up. When I got to work I didn't notice it and it is the first time we have actually gotten decent snow so it hasn't happened prior.
