So a tree fell on my Bronco…

So… a tree fell on my brand new Bronco last night. Not a horrible outcome, but upon closer inspection this morning it punctured the soft top in one spot, about the size of a nail. I didn’t see it at first, but once I felt the inside I found the hole.

So definitely an insurance claim… but I assume getting parts is going to be impossible at the moment?

Needs:
Paint Buffing
New Graphic Stripe
Fender flare
Side window scratched
Rear window scratched
Soft top replaced (I assume?)

Any guesses on a claim estimate?

Bummer. Can't fix a hole in soft top so has to be replaced. I'd guess that is $5000 of damage. Good news is you can still drive while waiting for parts! Slap some black duct tape on that hole and good to go.

I'm sure most of the scratches can be buffed out if they were just scratches from a branch and nothing major. Tears on the soft top can probably be repairable without replacing the entire thing.

Hey, bright side (if you're into it), maybe they'll offer to replace it with a cheaper "non-factory" option and you can get a bestop

The tree looks like it was in pretty good shape; I don't see any reason why it would snap and fall over like that. Sorry that happened to you. That's the worst luck!

My dealer was able to get a rear soft-top panel to complete a warranty repair on my Bronco, I think it took a week or two to arrive tho (might be faster if you're in the US, dunno)

We had crazy wind storms last night… 60-80MPH winds. The whole city is a mess, trees down all over!

Luckily this tree didn’t fall on it!

Yuk, that sucks!! I'll bet you're looking t some paint work there, those are some pretty good size scratches, 3-5K if they replace everything that's damaged and have to spray some paint.
