Solid axle obviously, but I'm pretty sure the rear has a sway bar as well...
The Jeeps do....
How is that not a hindrance for articulation compared to the front IFS?

there is no rear sway bar. look at the chassis photos in the photos/video/etc subforum

removing the rear anti-roll bar will not produce any changes since it doesn't exist

Dang it. I’ve got two kids in college. This really is not a good time for me. I’m waiting. Hoping an anvil falls out of the sky, lands on my head, thereby forgetting my financial responsibility and sign up.

Where is Willy Coyote when I need him?

I feel this. But one wanted off the payroll and the next wants to serve. Plus some debt got paid off this month. And more is getting paid off this winter.

I’m bringing it back from the dead… somehow I fell down a rabbit hole (couldn’t say how I got here really), and now I understand all Sasquatch 4 doors have rear sway bars installed. Is dreaming of an aftermarket way to tie in the electronic disconnect on all four corners of my badlands going to be just a fantasy, or is it conceivable?
* I did do a search and very little on the rear sway bar came up.

Depends on how deep your pockets are. But if you are really concerned about max articulation just remove the rear bar.

And holy thread resurrection! 2 days shy of 3 years is defiantly a forum record but not one to be proud of.

Not all 4drs have rear sway bars, at least mine doesn't. I vote fantasy.

Since things have changed from when the original question was asked, and it was the only thread that came up in the search, why not ask it again?
I get the “just remove it” logic also. I’ve don’t it in the past with other rides. But I could apply the same logic to the front? I chased the Badlands for the refined electronic disconnect approach. Lady on the streets…

I read it was a change post 21’. Admittedly I haven’t crawled off my Covid couch to verify it on my 23’.

Yes, sometime early in the '22 model year I believe. Many have removed to gain articulation in the rear while others believe that by leaving it on (or installing new) the resulting limited travel in the rear forces the front to articulate better.

IMO Ford added it to assist w/ towing.
