Can changes be made or is the VIN stamped in stone, so to speak?

I got the email yesterday for what was to be my MY22 Priority 99 Order but I have got a Base, Black MT scheduled for July 12th?

I want the Base but VB AT? So if I put my wishes in one hand, will I still wind up with Keys for a Black Bronco in the other?

Once the VIN is created your choices are 1) buy the vehicle as built 2) Don’t buy the vehicle as built. If you buy it you can modify it to be exactly what you want.

It's shocking but a car dealer actually lied to one of the customers.

I figure they were trying to unhorse some reservation customers to have units for some promised retail customers without reservations or orders.

But I can't prove it and they won't admit it.

If it was a dealer error it can be fixed. BUT the dealership has to request it. Since you were supposed to be a 99 priority any way you can probably accomplish this. But it will be up to you to push the dealership into it.

I had a similar circumstance happen. I had requested to be a MY22 99 priority, and then earlier in the week that I got my build date I had made changes that the dealership did not enter. So when I got my build date I contacted them and nicely communicated I was less than pleased, but if they could get the changes I wanted (color, and adding a rear locker) I would still purchase through them. It took a few days but they got the changes made.

If they won't make the changes you do have first right of refusal on the Bronco but you lose anything associated with that reservation number. Locked-in pricing, Ford pass points, sound deadening for MIC tops, etc.
