That if you have friends in from out of town, and you plan a day trip/hike that's 2 hours and 15 minutes from the house, and the weather says "15% chance of light scattered showers" and you take the front and center panels off that-

A: It will rain. A lot. Like, starting right before you come off the trial, and then the entire 2 hour and 15 minute trip home.

B: No matter which way you're going, the storm is going that way, too.

C: You should try to maintain a speed of at least 50 MPH, and the rain will mostly avoid coming in the cab of your Bronco you've had for 3 weeks.

D: If there's nothing you can do to stop it, you should just try to make the best of it and sing songs really loud. So you don't cry.

Oh, and

E: You'll see another Bronco on I25 with their soft top on, and they will point and laugh at you.

I learned Friday the media screen spazzes out big time when it's soaked. Try to avoid that.

I am laughing because I have been there and done that (well, in my JKU but not yet in the Bronco) and it is oh so true. Be prepared to never live this down and have it brought up everytime you want to take off roof panels.

At 54° it also looks like you’re getting good usage out of those heated seats!
My thoughts exactly. I must be a wimp. I wouldn’t go topless at 54 degrees.

🤣🤣 yes us softies will laugh at you. But it’s all in fun. I’ve e had the full soft top unbolted and removed and had to hurry to cover it up. I hope nothing gets permanently effected. It will be a laugh you will share for years to come. Sooner or later there will be a canvas bimini available for these situations that you can pop on in 5-10 minutes and keep most of the water out.

54 is a great temp for convertible driving, provided it's a sunny day or you're geared up enough.

I'll be first in line to buy one.

My son wanted me to take the top off yesterday, we went down to Parker for a family gathering. The skies opened up in our drive back up north. Glad I listened to my gut and left it on!

15% chance of rain means it will definitely rain in 15% of the area covered by the weather map, not that there is a 15% chance of it raining on the entire map.

Its convoluted, but helps avoid situations like this.

That’s why we got the black diamond. Has the vinyl seats you can wash it out. So if you get caught in the rain it’s no big deal.
