Listen, when principle pays the bills, I'll start taking it to the bank. ALL is fair in love and war, and car buying is your own personal Vietnam. I'm out of idioms already or I would keep going.

I get it - still going through with the transaction is rewarding bad behavior.. But it keeps the dealership from making another 20k+ on top of it, so I say go through with it. Swallow the pride down, take delivery and roll around in the $15-20K profit all sprawled out on your bed to make you feel better, Scrooge McDuck style.

So the lack of a signed buyers agreement is their justification to sodomize one customer and to treat another customer (likely a family member) who had a signed buyers agreement better?

I posted a review as well and got the managers canned response. Here's what I updated. I think its fair that if they back down and sell it for msrp then we can all take down the negative reviews?

With my build date on the brink (keep getting pushed), seeing posts like these gives me HIGH anxiety, ugh! I hope the OP gets a reasonable resolution here (no ADM and a sincere apology). I'm heartened by the Bronco6G members who stepped up in OP's defense with this shady dealer DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN. Praying my dealer doesn't pull similar shenanigans, but if they do I will put them on blast here.

The only thing that might fix some of this is the power in numbers. The dealerships (collectively) and manufactures all have lobbyist. We get the shaft. Stupid dead model that should just go away. Love or hate Tesla, but getting rid of the middle man is needed. Dealerships should be service centers with models on hand to test drive. Having a dealership getting mad cause people are fighting back just cracks me up. Stupid thing here is Ford put customers at a disadvantage and they are probably more worried about the trash dealership getting bad reviews than they are of the customers getting screwed by their rules and lack of communication. No one would ever agree to pay anything above MSRP if Ford made it simple to move the reservation. Just a little drop box on the website with your reservation to do simple tasks to fix the issue. Ford should have made the dealers have a signed purchase contract to convert the reservation. I mean... customer paid a deposit on the deal to get screwed in the end. Issues start at the top!

Hoping that @Ford Motor Company realizes that shennagins hurt not just the dealer, but the brand...

Reserved 7/13 with in the first 45 minutes, placed my order in January, Built July 2nd, Dirt Mountain till September and delivered 10/14

Was checking the Pizza tracker yesterday and noticed that it was delivered to DCH Ford of Eatontown.

I've been reaching out to my sales guy (who I'm friends with) the past few weeks and he's been acting slightly different.

I give him at call at 11 today (have off this week), so he proceeds to tell me that they are marking them up 10K now. I drive up to the dealership after the call talk to my sales guy and then I talk to the manager and he trying bullshitting with this "value" talk and I basically cut through the BS and straight up ask them if they are going to take it off....which I proceed out the door and tell them to shove the Bronco where the sun doesn't shine and a bunch of other four letter words.

Needless to say I'm furious at this point.

Left a 1 star google review. GM responded asking me to delete my review since I dont know all details. I texted him saying "sell the dude the car at msrp and I'll change it to 5 star.

Not sure if they care about their dealer rater rating (left one there too) but they DO seem to care about google rating. Bomb em til OP gets his bronco.

Please explain this to me, My Window sticker is green and I am expecting delivery next week. I hope that I can get my FE for MSRP or real close to it.

Its strange, why did one customer allegedly have a signed order and the OP did not? Thats a very inconsistent practice for the dealer unless there's more details we don't know

Sounds to me like others have balked at the ADMs too - especially if they have a First Edition sitting around.



Does anyone know if a transfer will work if your vehicle is already on the lot, though? I understand transferring before production or even before shipping, but does it being on the lot already mean anything?
Call Ford Customer Service and ask them personally. There are simply too many know-it-alls here with different information. Customer Service will be able to look up you exact reservation and let you know. Don't wait any longer!
