Does the document with a price specifically say it is not a contract? Legal terms do matter.
Only to those with the ethics of a snail. Screwing those with lesser legal knowledge tells us what kind of human you are.

You have eliminated any doubt that the OP was entirely correct that the dealer is an asshole, and is holding his customers' reservations ransom...
The dealer is an asshole but itā€™s legal and the customer has no legal standing to complain. End of discussion.

So, in your professional opinion and all the touchy feely crap aside, is the dealer bound (legally) to that price? Is what the OP posted a legal contract for that price?
The dealer presented him a document on its letterhead with a fixed price (offer). He signed and agreed to buy (acceptance and consideration). Binding contract. An alternate theory is that he relied on this dealer's representation to sell him the vehicle at the promised price to his detriment, as he was bound to this dealership and would have to "start over" in ordering a new one. Promissory estoppel. He may also have a claim under the NJ consumer fraud law. This would be a great case to litigate.

Verbally abusive? Can you read?

And yes itā€™s not a good look for the dealer but frankly who cares? We have bigger things to worry about than a guy who never signed a purchase agreement throwing a tantrum because he is being asked to pay more for the most sought after (for some reason) vehicle on sale today. Talk about 1st world problems.
quite well, in fact:

The OP is certainly ignorant as to how car buying works

That's not the only question though is it? Did the dealer act in good faith with regards to a reservation holder? While not obliged legally to do so, it is an important metric and the crux of the issue.

Wait, you need legal standing to complain? Hey, when did that law pass?

Were any of those products as in demand as the Bronco? Was there another plandemic going in when you purchased those as wellā€¦dramatically impacting new vehicle supply?
Yes....when I picked up my 21 F150 in June they had 0 trucks on the lot for sale ....zero.

I didnā€™t present anyone with anything. But no, signing an options list saying ā€œthis is what I want the dealer to orderā€ is not a binding contract. It would be the shortest case in history. The dealer would win
Why are you here?

Hoping that this poster is the dealer's lawyer. Let's run up his billable hours!!!

I really loved reading all those reviews on Google about the dealership after this. Oh man, they had to be a smidge nervous.

My favorite one is a review on praise of the salesperson named Blane Goshorn or something.

Only to see the same name also leaving a "customer" review.

Come on man.

It takes decades to build up a reputation, and a second to ruin it.

Bahahaha!! This entire thread is proof that this dealer is sitting at home stewing about this. If he really felt like he was doing what was right he wouldnā€™t be on here trying to defend it soooooo hard

Interesting take. The problem is that he signed the form and wrote why he signed it. It wasnā€™t a purchase agreement it was confirming that he wanted the dealer to order that vehicle with those options. No mention of price. Now I wonā€™t speculate to how the court would handle what a ā€œreasonable personā€ would have assumed by signing that. But him writing exactly why heā€™s signing is not in his favor. He could have wrote ā€œI authorize dch to order the above bronco with the stated options and agree to pay MSRP upon delivery.ā€ And then have the dealer sign it. Now itā€™s binding. Dealer loses in court, OP gets his Bronco at MSRP. Problem averted. Legal Stuff 101
