Anyone else notice an extremely unusual amount of out of state tags from all over? I've lived here (Houston area)all of my life and never seen anything like it. Just curious if you've seen it and have any conspiracy theory's?

A HUGE ton of people relocated this past year. Some because of lost work but a lot because they are now working remotely and can live anywhere they want. Texas is one of several states that saw a big influx.

Welcome to what Colorado has been like for years. Nothing makes sense anymore if you ask me.
I’d wager that’s a byproduct of age induced wisdom. (Wink.... (no second winks)) 😜
I also believe that CoVID is driving people out of urban areas, but that’s no conspiracy theory...just look at the housing market.

Lots of remote workers making money in home sales (im in WA state) to move to a state with lower tax rates and cheaper homes while being paid the same. Also, alot moving to TX as our gun buying/ownership laws are starting to get alot more restrictive.

Our Texas taxes rates are not really lower, while we have no State Income Tax, our Property Tax Bills more than make up for it. Virtually every new home is in an Home Owners Association development (HOA) which gets formed under one of several laws that add more property taxes to pay for the development infrastructure, roads, water, etc. And then there are our Toll Roads.
